In a surprising turn of events, President Biden's speech at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina was interrupted by pro-Palestinian demonstrators demanding a "ceasefire now" in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. The protesters were escorted out, but their interruption sparked criticism and controversy surrounding Biden's response.

During the speech, President Biden acknowledged the passion of the demonstrators and revealed that he has been "quietly working" with the Israeli government to reduce their presence in Gaza. However, his comments were met with criticism, with some seeing it as a capitulation to extremists and a betrayal to Israel.

Critics, including columnist Karol Markowicz and TV news producer Jake Novak, voiced their concerns over Biden's stance on Israel. They pointed out that he had previously repeated the accusation that Israel was "indiscriminately bombing Gaza," which they believed undermined the country's efforts to avoid civilian casualties.

Conservative writer Melissa Braunstein expressed disappointment that Biden did not address the pro-Hamas extremists who interrupted his speech, suggesting that they should have been the focus of his speech on extremism. The interruption highlighted the growing issue of open Jew-hatred that has been observed under Biden's watch, according to radio host Tony Katz.

California Rep. Darrell Issa took to social media to claim that Biden's statement about having Israel's back was not true. Similarly, radio host Mark Davis criticized Biden's response as being influenced by pro-Palestinian hooligans and accused him of undermining Israel's war efforts.

Rabbi Shmuel Reichman expressed concerns over a potential ceasefire, stating that it could provide a lifeline to Hamas leaders and allow them to re-arm and reorganize. He emphasized Israel's efforts to protect Palestinian civilians by providing evacuation time and humanitarian aid, suggesting that Biden's response was troubling.

Furthermore, 17 current Biden for President staffers penned a letter calling for the president to advocate for an immediate ceasefire in the war, which was initiated by a surprise attack by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

As tensions continue to escalate between Israel and Hamas, President Biden's response to the pro-Palestinian demonstrators has ignited a debate about his stance on Israel and the Middle East conflict. The interruption of his speech underscores the divided opinions surrounding the ongoing violence and the path towards a resolution.
