In a recent meeting at the White House, President Biden faced criticism for his engagement with Jordan's King Abdullah II amidst the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. The meeting marked the first visit by an Arab leader to the United States since the brutal terror attack conducted by Hamas on October 7th, which sparked a full-scale war in the Gaza Strip and intensified tensions throughout the Middle East.

During the meeting, both President Biden and King Abdullah II called for an immediate ceasefire in the region. Additionally, the Jordanian leader expressed concerns about launching a major offensive in Rafah without a comprehensive plan to protect civilians. Critics, including Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, accused Biden of catering to the far-left and suggested it was an attempt to boost his approval ratings.

Criticism intensified as Fox News host Mark Levin described Biden's actions as a "betrayal" of Israel, labeling them "grotesque and unconscionable." Levin accused Biden of using King Abdullah II as a "propagandist," stating that the President had slandered Israel and demanded its self-destruction. These comments elicited strong reactions from social media users, questioning how the Jewish community can continue to support the Democratic Party despite alleged discrimination and disrespect.

In response to the criticism, President Biden shared a message on social media, stating that he is actively seeking ways to bring peace to the region and alleviate the humanitarian crisis. However, his statements were met with objections from critics. Political consultant Noah Pollak criticized Biden for not pressuring Iran or Qatar, which he argued were major sources of leverage over Hamas. Conservative influencer "The Foo" accused President Biden of being untruthful, citing his supposed threat to veto a bill providing aid to Israel.

Earlier in the day, President Biden received applause from a friendly audience after joking about his memory issues during a speech at the National Association of Counties Legislative Conference. The joke came in the wake of concerns about Biden's mental acuity raised by a report on his handling of classified material.

Criticism continues to mount as President Biden navigates the delicate situation between Israel and Hamas. The contentious nature of the conflict and his administration's response have led to further divisions and doubts about his approach.
