Portland Police Identify Woman Killed in Weekend Shooting, Suspect Arrested

Portland, Oregon - The Portland Police Bureau has released the identity of a woman who was fatally shot over the weekend. Shamesha Danaee Allen, a 45-year-old resident, was tragically killed on the evening of Saturday, November 18th, in the 15900 block of Northeast Everett Court. The medical examiner's report confirmed that Allen's cause of death was a gunshot wound, ruling the case as a homicide.
Law enforcement officials apprehended Donnell L. Watson, a 43-year-old resident of Gresham, in connection with Allen's death. Watson now faces charges of first-degree manslaughter and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He has been remanded to the Multnomah County Jail to await further legal proceedings.
