One Person Killed in Christmas Eve Crash in Portland Intersection

Portland, Oregon - Tragedy struck early on Christmas Eve when a fatal crash occurred near the intersection of North Columbia Boulevard and North Oregonian. According to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB), one person lost their life in the incident.
At approximately 1:00 a.m., officers from the North Precinct received a report of a crash and quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered that one vehicle was involved in the accident.
Despite the prompt intervention and lifesaving efforts provided by paramedics, a passenger in the vehicle tragically succumbed to their injuries at the scene, PPB stated in a press release.
To conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to this fatal crash, the Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team has been assigned to lead the ongoing investigation. Their expertise and experience will aid in determining the cause and any potential contributing factors to the tragic incident.
