In a recent development, Republicans have unveiled bank records that allegedly show President Joe Biden received at least three monthly payments from a company owned by his son, Hunter Biden. The payments were reportedly sourced from a company that had taken in millions from China, raising concerns of potential conflicts of interest.

According to the Oversight Committee, President Biden received three payments of $1,380 each on September 17, October 15, and November 15 in 2018. These payments were made by Hunter-owned firm, Owasco. While the Oversight Committee released proof of one payment, the details of the other two remain undisclosed.

The Department of Justice is currently investigating whether Hunter Biden used Owasco for tax evasion. An email found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop revealed that he owed his father $1,380 in 2018 as a loan repayment for his truck. However, it is unclear whether this was a monthly expense or a one-time payment.

The revelation of these payments comes at a time when House Republicans are considering a potential vote on authorizing an impeachment investigation. This move aims to ensure compliance from the White House and other entities regarding their document requests and subpoenas.

Additionally, concerns have been raised about Hunter Biden's financial transactions with a Chinese company. Republicans leading the impeachment investigation made public an email from a bank investigator who expressed alarm over the 'unusual' and 'erratic' activity in Hunter Biden's finances. A joint venture between Hunter Biden and the Chinese oil firm CEFC resulted in a transfer of $5 million to Hunter's entities, Hudson and Owasco. The email noted that the funds did not appear to have any services rendered and served no current business purpose.

The bank investigator also highlighted the issue of China potentially targeting 'children of politicians' to purchase political influence through 'sweetheart deals.' As a result of these concerns, the investigator recommended a 're-evaluation' of the bank's relationship with Hunter Biden, labeling him a 'high risk' client.

The House Oversight Committee, led by Republican Representative James Comer, claims to have discovered $24 million in payments from foreign nationals to members of the Biden family. The committee alleges that the payments made to Joe Biden from Hunter's Owasco PC corporate account are part of a pattern indicating Joe Biden's knowledge of and involvement in his family's influence peddling schemes.

Furthermore, Republicans on the Oversight Committee have raised questions about a $40,000 check from Joe's brother, James, and his wife, Sara, to Joe. Although it was marked as a 'loan repayment,' doubts have been cast over whether the money was truly used for that purpose.

The White House has repeatedly maintained that President Joe Biden did not benefit from his family's business ventures, and Joe Biden himself has previously stated that Hunter never made money from China. However, these newly unveiled bank records and emails raise further questions about the financial connections between the Biden family and foreign entities.

As the investigation continues, it remains to be seen how these revelations will impact the political landscape and the ongoing efforts to hold the Biden administration accountable for transparency and potential conflicts of interest.
