In a press conference held at the Ministry of Defense, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear that he would not compromise on the demilitarization of Gaza. With the ongoing Israel-Hamas war intensifying, Netanyahu stated that Gaza must be under full Israeli security control, adding that he would not compromise on the entire area west of the Jordan River.

Netanyahu emphasized the continued fight on all fronts and sectors, stressing that no immunity would be granted to any terrorist, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, or elsewhere. He underscored Israel's determination to withstand any threats, stating, "Anyone attempting to harm us - we strike back."

Addressing the issue of hostages, Netanyahu announced that 110 have been successfully brought back, with a commitment to repatriate all of them. He stressed that this objective is essential as part of the ongoing conflict and that military pressure is crucial for its completion.

While acknowledging discussions with US President Joe Biden over the weekend, Netanyahu reemphasized his commitment to ensuring that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel. He expressed gratitude for the US's support but asserted that Israel's vital interests remain paramount.

Pointing to his conversation with President Biden, Netanyahu clarified that after achieving victory and defeating Hamas, there will be no factor in Gaza that funds or educates for terrorism or supports terrorists. He asserted that this stance would persist as long as he remains Prime Minister, challenging others to display leadership and openly declare their positions to the citizens of Israel if they differ.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant paid a visit to the 100 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force at the Hatzor base. Accompanied by the squadron commander, Lieutenant Colonel S, Gallant flew over the skies of Gaza and held discussions with pilots, aircrew, and ground crews responsible for aircraft armament.

Gallant expressed appreciation for the coordination between the Air Force and ground forces operating in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the importance of their cooperation in achieving operational objectives. Witnessing an ongoing attack by the Air Force in the southern part of Gaza City, he praised the accuracy, quality, and coordination displayed during the operation.

The Defense Minister reiterated their commitment to continue operations in the Khan Yunis area, with the aim of achieving their primary goals, including the dismantling of Hamas and the safe return of the hostages to their homes. He made it clear that the skies of Gaza will continue to be covered by mushroom clouds from tanks, artillery, and Air Force planes until these objectives are met.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas remains a significant concern, with Netanyahu's firm stance on Gaza demilitarization reflecting the Israeli government's dedication to ensuring lasting security in the region.
