The ceremony, marking the consecration of the temple, holds immense religious and cultural significance for millions of devotees.

The Supreme Court, under the leadership of Chief Justice of India (CJI) Gogoi in 2019, resolved the long-standing Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute, paving the way for the construction of the Ram Temple. As per the court's verdict, the religious ceremony is scheduled to take place on a specific date.

However, due to various commitments, some key personalities from the original bench will not be able to attend the event. Former Chief Justice Gogoi, who played a pivotal role in the resolution of the land dispute, is currently engaged in charitable works in the state of Assam. Chief Justice Chandrachud, known for his strong commitment to a working day, has decided not to leave for a religious ceremony on such a day.

The participation of Justice Bobde, another former Chief Justice, remains unconfirmed at this point. There is anticipation among the devotees and organizers regarding his attendance. Justice Nazeer, who is now serving as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, also has prior commitments that prevent him from attending the ceremony.

Justice Ashok Bhushan, who is currently serving as the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) chairman, has expressed his intent to be present at the historic event. His presence at the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony reaffirms the significance of the apex court's verdict and underscores the respect for the religious sentiments of the people.

The 'pran pratishtha' ceremony will mark the culmination of the long-awaited construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. It symbolizes the fulfillment of the aspirations of millions of devotees who consider Lord Ram's birthplace a sacred site. The event will witness rituals conducted by qualified priests to consecrate the temple, thus making it a revered place of worship.

The participation of Justice Ashok Bhushan, despite the absence of some of his esteemed colleagues, showcases the continued commitment towards embracing and respecting the diverse beliefs and religious practices of the nation. The event is expected to draw the attention of people from all walks of life, who eagerly await this significant moment in the history of Ayodhya and the country as a whole.
