In a stunning revelation, Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has accused top US commanders from CENTCOM, the US Army, and the US Navy of collaborating with Israeli officials in their military campaign against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. Speaking at a gathering of Iranian police commanders and officials in Tehran, General Rashid claimed that the US commanders had traveled to Tel Aviv and were directing Israeli forces' brutal offensives against the Palestinian population.
According to General Rashid, the Iranian Armed Forces have received information confirming the presence of US commanders at an underground base in Tel Aviv, where they are providing supervision and direct support to the Israeli regime's military operations. He further highlighted the hypocrisy of the US claiming to restrain war in the region while simultaneously sending thousands of destructive bombs and missiles to the occupied Palestine and offering guidance for ground battles.
The Iranian general expressed confidence that the Palestinian people, in conjunction with fighters from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other Gaza-based resistance groups, will ultimately triumph over Israel and the United States. He predicted that the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime will lead to losses for both entities.
Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 following Hamas' Operation al-Aqsa Storm. Since then, the Tel Aviv regime has been relentlessly carrying out war crimes against the blockaded Gaza Strip. The onslaught has resulted in the deaths of at least 8,525 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, while leaving over 21,048 others injured.
As part of its aggressive measures, Israel has imposed a comprehensive siege on Gaza, depriving its population of fuel, electricity, food, and water. These actions have led to unprecedented suffering for the more than two million Palestinians living in the territory.
While the claims made by General Rashid cannot be independently verified, they underscore the gravity of the situation and raise serious concerns about the involvement of US commanders in the Israeli offensive. The international community continues to call for an immediate end to the violence and for a peaceful resolution to the long-standing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
