The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when the student, who appeared distraught, ingested an unknown drug, according to local reports and a police report.

Following the violent assault, the 60-year-old teacher was immediately rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. To prevent further damage from swelling, medical professionals took the significant step of removing her skull cap.
