In a recent development, it has been revealed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) maintained more than 40 confidential human sources on various criminal matters related to the Biden family. This information, obtained by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, includes Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and James Biden.
According to the exclusive information obtained by Fox News Digital, the confidential human sources provided the FBI with crucial criminal information regarding the Biden family, dating back to Joe Biden's time as vice president. These sources were managed by multiple FBI field offices, including the Seattle Field Office.
However, Senator Grassley discovered that an FBI task force within the Washington Field Office attempted to shut down reporting and information from these confidential sources. They allegedly discredited the information as foreign disinformation, falsely causing investigative activity to cease.
Despite these efforts, Grassley revealed that at least one confidential human source and its information had been vetted by multiple U.S. attorneys' offices, which found no links to known sources of Russian disinformation.
In a letter addressed to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray, Grassley voiced his concerns over an apparent effort within the Justice Department and FBI to obstruct investigative activity related to the Biden family. He suggested that political bias may be affecting the decision-making process of high-ranking officials, as well as line agents and prosecutors.
Grassley has been conducting investigations for years based on information and allegations from Justice Department whistleblowers. He believes that there is evidence of improper delays and attempts to halt the full and complete investigation into the Biden family's activities.
One crucial document at the center of the investigation is an FD-1023, an FBI-generated form used to document confidential human source reporting. This form details allegations of a criminal bribery scheme involving Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and the founder and CEO of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky.
The allegations state that Joe and Hunter Biden coerced Zlochevsky into paying them millions of dollars in exchange for their help in getting the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma fired. However, the White House has denied these allegations.
Grassley's letter also revealed that a Kleptocracy case into Zlochevsky was closed by the FBI Washington Field Office in December 2019. This happened during the height of scrutiny surrounding Hunter Biden's role on the board of Burisma, which was a topic of discussion during former President Donald Trump's impeachment proceedings.
Further investigations took place in FBI field offices across the country, including Pittsburgh, where a task force led by Brian Auten sought confidential human source information on the Biden family. Grassley suggests that efforts were made to discredit this information as foreign disinformation, even though other documents contradict this claim.
The FBI has declined to comment on the allegations made by Grassley, while the Justice Department has not responded to requests for comment.
Grassley has demanded that the FBI and DOJ provide answers to his letter by November 17. The investigation into the Biden family's activities, including potential financial connections to foreign entities, continues.
As this story unfolds, it raises questions about the intersection of politics and criminal investigations and underscores the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the Biden family.
