In a recent interview, Donald Trump Jr. expressed his determination to go to "great lengths" to prevent Nikki Haley, GOP presidential candidate, from joining his father's campaign. Trump Jr. stated that he sees Haley as the "preferred candidate" of the Washington establishment, and he would actively work against her involvement.

During a Christmas Day interview on Newsmax's "The Balance," Trump Jr. accused Haley of advocating for never-ending wars, dubbing her a puppet of the establishment in Washington D.C. According to Trump Jr., Haley has become the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class, as they seek to exercise control in politics. He further claimed that Haley would be used by influential entities, such as Harvard academia, to promote their agendas.

Trump Jr. voiced concerns that if Haley became his father's running mate, she would attempt to undermine the campaign from within. He insisted that he would not want Haley to be part of the team, as he believed it would lead to a "disaster of epic proportions." Trump Jr. contended that Haley and her team would relentlessly work to destroy Donald Trump's credibility and presidency.

Haley, on the other hand, has been vocal about her opposition to another Trump presidency. In a recent post-debate interview, she argued that the country needs stability and criticized Trump for bringing chaos to the political landscape, claiming that he is not the right person to be president.

Lara Trump, Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, had hinted that the possibility of Trump choosing Haley as his running mate should not be ruled out. She mentioned that "crazier things have happened" in politics, leaving room for speculation on the final decision.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the Haley campaign for a response to Trump Jr.'s comments. It remains to be seen how this clash of opinions and opposing views will impact the 2024 presidential campaign.
