Comedian Tiffany Haddish has entered a plea of not guilty in her Los Angeles DUI case. The 44-year-old actress was arrested last month under suspicion of driving under the influence. According to TMZ, during her arraignment on Wednesday, Haddish pleaded not guilty to two charges brought by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office - driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08% blood alcohol concentration (BAC).

This is the second DUI arrest for Haddish in less than two years. Just three weeks prior to her recent arrest, she was found asleep behind the wheel of her car in Beverly Hills. Responding officers discovered Haddish asleep in her car, which was still running and parked in the middle of the busy Beverly Drive on November 24.

Last week, Haddish was charged with her second DUI. RadarOnline.com obtained documents stating that a Georgia judge ordered her to abstain from alcohol and illegal drugs earlier this month. This decision came after Haddish's recent arrest in Beverly Hills. Prosecutors requested the court to modify her bond conditions, informing the court about her November 2023 arrest.

During the hearing, the judge granted the motion and ordered Haddish not to drink alcohol, use drugs, including CBD, and to submit to random drug testing. This decision aims to ensure her compliance with the conditions of her release.

Following her November arrest, Haddish expressed her determination to seek help. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she emphasized that this would never happen again and shared her intention to learn balance and boundaries. The actress also commended the professionalism of the Beverly Hills Police Department in handling the situation.

Sources close to Haddish revealed that she is regretful about the incident and wants to refute any suggestions of having an alcohol problem. She intends to address the situation proactively and has enlisted the assistance of lawyers to handle the legal proceedings. The actress is eager to put the incident behind her and focus on her work, as well as discovering new opportunities in the year ahead.

The arrest occurred in the early morning of November 24. Beverly Hills PD officers responded to a call about a person slumped over the wheel of a running car. Haddish was arrested without resistance and was seen smiling in her mugshot, recalling her previous DUI arrest in January 2022.

Haddish's comedic talent has gained her significant recognition, but her recent legal troubles have cast a shadow over her career. As the case unfolds, it remains to be seen how this will impact her future endeavors.
