The residents of South Florida can prepare for a sudden drop in temperatures as a cold front is set to arrive in the region on Sunday afternoon. Following a warm start to the day, the weather is expected to deteriorate in the late afternoon, potentially bringing rain showers.

With temperatures reaching the mid-80s during the day, South Floridians can anticipate a drastic change as dry, cool air rushes in after sunset. By 6 p.m., temperatures could drop to the upper 60s, and by Monday morning, locals will awaken to cool temperatures in the 50s.

Throughout Monday, the mercury is expected to stay in the 60s, offering a significant contrast to the previous days of warmth. Looking ahead, high temperatures for the rest of the week are projected to range between the mid-to-low 70s, while nighttime lows will fluctuate from the upper 40s to around 60 degrees.

This sudden change in weather will likely bring a fresh autumn-like feel to South Florida, prompting locals to prepare for cooler days ahead. It is advised to dress appropriately and consider bringing out warmer clothing as the temperatures continue to drop.

Stay tuned for further updates and be prepared for a week of cooler weather in South Florida as the cold front settles in.
