Car Found Submerged in Water Following Accident on I-85

The Powdersville Fire Department responded to a car accident on Interstate 85 near mile marker 37, where a car was discovered submerged in water. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find the vehicle partially submerged and immediately called in their swift water rescue team for assistance.

The trained team members quickly arrived at the scene and braved the treacherous conditions to reach the submerged car. Despite their best efforts, no occupants were found inside the vehicle or in the vicinity of the incident.
