The bout, which also featured Rhea Ripley and the returning Kairi Sane, saw Stark suffer a leg injury after an awkward landing from a springboard dropkick.

The injury occurred when Stark's move on Sane failed to go smoothly, leaving her in visible pain and necessitating immediate medical attention. WWE officials promptly removed Stark from the contest, turning the match into a face-off between Ripley and Sane.

Despite Stark's unexpected exit, Ripley and Sane continued the match. In the end, Ripley secured the victory, pinning Sane with her signature move, the Riptide. This victory came after Sane had made her return to the ring following a five-month hiatus, only to take the pinfall loss in this high-stakes match.

Bryan Alvarez, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, highlighted that Stark's injury led to significant changes in the match's planned progression. Originally, Stark was supposed to be involved in various spots and ultimately take the pinfall. Alvarez and his colleague Dave Meltzer noted that while Ripley was always booked to win, the disruption caused by the injury forced an impromptu format for the match's second half.

Following Stark's injury, many WWE superstars extended their wishes for her swift recovery. Rhea Ripley, Kairi Sane, and Bayley were among those who publicly sent their support to Stark.

Zoey Stark's unfortunate landing from the springboard dropkick has certainly impacted the wrestling community, highlighting the unpredictability and physical demands of the sport.
