In a highly dramatic and entertaining segment, pro wrestling fans were left in awe as The Rock attacked Rhodes amidst pouring rain. The electrifying altercation saw The Rock relentlessly throw Rhodes into the side of his tour bus multiple times. This captivating event has further fueled anticipation for WrestleMania 40, scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on April 6 and 7.

Meanwhile, WWE has already started planning the next steps for rising stars Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams following their upcoming grudge match at NXT Stand & Deliver next month. Fightful Select reports that Hayes has been marked for a main roster call-up since before the Royal Rumble and is expected to become a full-time member of the main roster by summer. As for Williams, his impactful surprise appearance on SmackDown earlier this year caught the attention of WWE higher-ups. While there are talks of a continued feud between Hayes and Williams on the main roster, it remains uncertain what Williams will undertake after Stand & Deliver.

The WWE decision-makers have reportedly pushed for Hayes vs. Williams to be the main event match at Stand & Deliver, despite no championship being at stake. This intense rivalry has captured the imagination of the fans, making it difficult for any other match on the card to surpass it. The feud between Ilja Dragunov and Tony D'Angelo for the NXT Championship has the potential to headline, but since it only recently began, it lacks the same level of fervor as Melo vs. Trick. This precedes the occasion six years ago when a blood feud between former best friends, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, stole the show at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans during WrestleMania weekend. Hayes and Williams have undoubtedly earned their spot as the main event, with the fans deeply invested in their explosive rivalry.

In further wrestling news, Minneapolis is reportedly the leading contender to host WrestleMania 41, making it the first-time host city for this prestigious event. According to Fightful Select, Minneapolis organizers are optimistic about securing the rights to host WrestleMania 41 and expect an official announcement in the upcoming weeks. Minnesota Sports and Events CEO Wendy Williams Blackshaw hinting that Minneapolis would be hosting a major event in 2025 has fueled these rumors. She mentioned that this event would have a significant economic impact, second only to the Super Bowl.

Minneapolis, despite being in a cold-weather climate, has been a favored choice by WWE in recent years. WrestleMania 35 was held outdoors in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and the upcoming WrestleMania 40 will emanate from Philadelphia. While the weather in Minneapolis could be chilly in April, it is worth noting that the Minnesota Vikings play indoors at the state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium. This venue is highly likely to be the location chosen for WrestleMania 41, considering WWE's preference for holding grand events at relatively new NFL stadiums. Although WWE has never hosted a show at U.S. Bank Stadium, WrestleMania 41 would serve as the perfect debut for this remarkable facility.

As fans eagerly await WrestleMania 40 and its thrilling lineup, the prospect of Minneapolis hosting WrestleMania 41 brings additional excitement to the world of professional wrestling.
