As a winter storm prepares to make its way through southeast Wisconsin, Storm Team 4 is closely monitoring the situation. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of southeastern Wisconsin, effective Friday morning.

According to forecasts, cloud cover is expected to increase throughout the day as temperatures rise into the lower and mid-30s. The snowfall is anticipated to begin in southern Wisconsin after midnight, with snow showers becoming more widespread and intense throughout Friday morning.

There is a possibility that a heavier snow band or two may develop in certain areas, which could lead to increased snowfall totals. Most of southern Wisconsin is predicted to receive a wet snowfall accumulation between 3 to 6 inches.

The impacts of the snowstorm are expected to be moderate, particularly during the Friday morning commute. Travelers are advised to exercise caution and allow for extra time on their journeys.

The snowfall is projected to taper off early Friday afternoon, giving way to sunshine on Saturday. However, residents should be prepared for another round of precipitation, this time a mix of rain and snow, starting late Sunday and extending into Monday.

As always, it is crucial to stay updated on the latest weather alerts and advisories from local authorities and follow any instructions or precautions they provide. Stay safe and stay informed as we navigate through this snowy weather in Wisconsin.
