In an exciting turn of events, the UFC is set to host a thrilling fight card in Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia tomorrow for UFC Saudi Arabia on ABC. The main event for Saturday, June 22 will feature former UFC middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker, taking on Ikram Aliskerov in a highly anticipated 185-pound contest.

Initially, the scheduled main event between Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev was canceled due to Chimaev falling ill. As a result, Aliskerov, who had been training for another fight, was moved to the Saudi Arabia event as a late replacement.

Whittaker, currently ranked No. 3 in the official UFC middleweight rankings, holds a record of 25-7. He has experienced both wins and losses in his past five Octagon appearances, with notable defeats against Israel Adesanya and Dricus du Plessis. Whittaker's most recent victory came in February when he secured a decision win against Paulo Costa.

Aliskerov, on the other hand, has only been with the UFC since May 2023. With a record of 15-1, he has already made an impact, winning both of his UFC fights via first-round knockouts. His most recent performance, an impressive stoppage of Warlley Alves in October, earned him the "Performance of the Night" bonus.

Although the odds for tomorrow's main event favor Whittaker, with him opening at -150 and currently listed at -160, Aliskerov has seen some support from bettors, with opening odds of +125 and now sitting at +130. While more bets are placed on the underdog, Whittaker holds the majority of the betting money.

In the co-headlining matchup, top-ranked heavyweight fighters Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov are set to clash. With no certainty regarding Jon Jones' return, this bout carries significant implications. Pavlovich, coming off a loss to Tom Aspinall, opened as the -210 favorite, with Volkov sitting at +170. As fight night approaches, Pavlovich's odds have shifted to -250, while Volkov is now at +195. Despite more bets placed on Volkov, Pavlovich holds the majority of the betting money.

Other exciting matchups on the main card include Gastelum vs. Rodriguez, where Gastelum's failure to make weight resulted in a change from welterweight to middleweight. The odds had Gastelum as the favorite at -250, while Rodriguez opened at +190. However, bettors seem to favor Rodriguez, with a large majority of bets and money on the underdog.

In a late replacement fight, Magomedov takes on Trocoli as Joilton Lutterbach failed a drug test. Magomedov, the heavy favorite at -650, is receiving significant support from bettors, despite more bets and money being placed on Trocoli.

The event kicks off with a light heavyweight showdown between Walker and Oezdemir, ranked No. 7 and No. 9 respectively in the division. The outcome for this matchup remains uncertain, with bettors favoring Oezdemir.

With an action-packed fight card in store for fans, UFC Saudi Arabia promises to deliver thrilling encounters between top-ranked fighters. As the fighters step into the Octagon tomorrow, all eyes will be on Whittaker vs. Aliskerov as they battle for glory in the main event.
