### Commanders Face Depleted Panthers Squad This Weekend
The Washington Commanders are set to face a Carolina Panthers team that will be missing a significant number of key players. This offers the Commanders an improved chance to secure a victory against a Carolina roster riddled with injuries.
In total, seven Panthers players have been ruled out for the upcoming game, with three more listed as doubtful. Among the doubtful is linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, who missed last week's game due to a shoulder injury and is unlikely to participate this week either.
Rookie running back Jonathon Brooks, who has been recovering from a torn ACL sustained last season at Texas, is one of the seven players confirmed to be out. Despite resuming practice this week, Brooks will not be activated in time for the game against Washington.
Other confirmed absentees include defensive end A'Shawn Robinson (knee), linebackers Josey Jewell (hamstring, groin) and Claudin Cherelus (hamstring), right tackle Taylor Moton (elbow), and linebacker Jon Rhattigan (knee, illness). Additionally, safety Sam Franklin (foot) and defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy are listed as doubtful to be activated from injured reserve.
Wide receiver Diontae Johnson practiced on Friday but is listed as questionable with rib, hamstring, and ankle injuries. Several other players fall into the questionable category, including wide receiver David Moore (knee), defensive end LaBryan Ray (ankle, knee), tight end Tommy Tremble (back, concussion), tackle Yosh Nijman (knee), and cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring).
