**Washington Commanders Utilize Extended Break to Prepare for Dallas Cowboys Clash**

The Washington Commanders are set to face off against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12, equipped with the advantage of a 10-day rest period following their Thursday Night Football game against the Eagles. The extended break contrasts sharply with the Cowboys' tight schedule, having just played and lost to the Houston Texans on Monday night. This upcoming matchup will be held at Northwest Stadium in Landover, kicking off at 1 PM.

Washington will be without cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who continues to recover from a hamstring injury suffered prior to being acquired from the Saints at the trade deadline. Lattimore has not participated in practice or any games since his Week 8 injury while still with the Saints. Head coach Dan Quinn expressed optimism that Lattimore could return next week.

Alongside Lattimore, Washington has listed three players as questionable for the game against Dallas. Despite their status, all three participated fully in Friday's practice session. Defensive end Clelin Ferrell, who has been dealing with a knee injury, had limited participation in practice on Friday but carries no injury designation for the game.

The Cowboys are monitoring the health of several key players as well. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, managing foot and back issues, practiced and if he responds well to Saturday’s session, is expected to play. Offensive lineman Tyler Smith practiced partially, while Zack Martin, suffering from ankle and shoulder problems, did not take part in practice.

Washington's injury report also includes linebacker Nick Bellore, defensive end Javontae Jean-Baptiste, kicker Austin Seibert, defensive end Dorance Armstrong, offensive tackle Brandon Coleman, cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, linebacker Jordan Magee, and tight end Ben Sinnott. While some of these players, such as Armstrong and Coleman, have newly emerged injuries, others like Seibert and Jean-Baptiste have been practicing fully and are on the path to returning.

As both teams make their final preparations, the Commanders will look to capitalize on their extended preparation time to secure a victory against a Cowboys team working through a shorter time frame and multiple injuries.
