**Warriors Outlast Shorthanded Pelicans in Hard-Fought Battle**

The Golden State Warriors triumphed over the New Orleans Pelicans in a challenging NBA Cup game on Friday. Despite facing a significantly depleted Pelicans roster, the Warriors had to dig deep to secure their victory.

Andrew Wiggins shone brightly for Golden State, delivering a game-high 30 points. Off the bench, Brandin Podziemski provided an invaluable boost, contributing 11 points and grabbing five rebounds. Head coach Steve Kerr was full of praise for Podziemski, highlighting his impressive all-around performance.

"He's such a good rebounder," Kerr commented. "He grabbed so many crucial rebounds in the second half. He consistently makes the right play, moves the ball well. The game just flows when he’s on the court. He was fantastic."

While Podziemski handled many of the game's subtle aspects, Wiggins distinctly led the scoring charge. Commenting on Wiggins' impressive play, Kerr remarked, "Andrew is feeling great. You saw him knock down all the threes early and his free throws. He looked fantastic out there, particularly on defense against Ingram. A lot of good stuff."

Discussing the team's various lineup strategies, Kerr noted, "We're just trying to find different guys each game. We have a deep team and believe we can find a group each night that's capable of securing a win."

This season, the Warriors have heavily relied on their depth, with different players stepping up each night. On this occasion, it was Wiggins who took center stage. The win improves Golden State's record to 12-3, placing them at the top of the Western Conference standings.
