As a family, we are comforted knowing Bill has found peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father."
Bill Cobbs, a highly regarded character actor with an illustrious career spanning over 50 years, had garnered nearly 200 film and television credits throughout his lifetime. Some of his notable roles include appearances in movies like "Air Bud," "The Bodyguard," and "New Jack City." His memorable performance in "Night at the Museum" featured him as a security guard alongside industry legends Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Cobbs served his country as a radar technician in the U.S. Air Force for eight years before embarking on his successful Hollywood journey.
