In an exciting development for the US Women's National Team (USWNT), several new members have joined the technical staff under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Emma Hayes. U.S. Soccer announced the additions, which include assistant coach Denise Reddy, goalkeeper coach Stuart Searle, and program director Bart Caubergh.

Denise Reddy, a former star at Rutgers University and a successful professional player in Sweden, brings a wealth of experience to the team. Having served as Hayes' assistant coach at Chelsea FC for the past four years, Reddy is well-versed in Hayes' coaching philosophy. With a UEFA Pro License, Reddy also brings expertise from her time as an assistant for the Under-20 U.S. Women's Youth National Team.

Joining Reddy as goalkeeper coach is Stuart Searle, hailing from Wimbledon, England. Searle has an impressive track record, having worked as Hayes' goalkeeper coach at Chelsea for nearly her entire tenure. Under his guidance, Searle has honed the skills of esteemed goalkeepers, including Ann-Katrin Berger, Zećira Mušović, Hedvig Lindahl, and Hannah Hampton. With over 20 years of experience at Chelsea, Searle is a valuable addition to the USWNT coaching staff.

Former interim head coach Twila Kilgore will continue serving on the coaching staff as an assistant, ensuring continuity and familiarity within the team.

Additionally, Bart Caubergh, a native of Belgium, has been appointed as the program director for the senior U.S. Women's National Team. Caubergh's main responsibilities will involve overseeing strategic alignment among staff members and departments. He will play a crucial role in planning on-field and off-field activities, as well as managing individual player periodization. Caubergh brings an extensive background with him, having worked with the Chelsea Women's team in various capacities and possessing a UEFA "A" coaching license.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new staff members, head coach Emma Hayes said, "We have a fantastic staff already in place, and I'm excited to integrate these new members who will contribute to a positive, competitive, and inclusive environment for the players." Hayes emphasized the dedication and passion that the new additions have for the team and their expertise in supporting the players to perform at their best.

The USWNT staff additions don't stop there, as Ferdia O'Hanrahan, a performance coach, and Cameron Meighan, an opposition analyst, from Chelsea FC will also join the team. Furthermore, U.S. Soccer has appointed Luis Guevara as the WNT performance analyst, filling a vacant position.

With these new coaching staff members joining the USWNT under the guidance of head coach Emma Hayes, the team is poised to continue their success on the international stage. The collective expertise and dedication of the coaching staff aim to create a positive and competitive environment for the players, as they work together towards common goals.
