In breaking news, a United Airlines flight traveling from San Francisco to Paris was diverted to Denver International Airport on Thursday evening. The Boeing 777-200, carrying 273 passengers and 12 crew members, encountered an issue with one of its engines, prompting the diversion.

Though the crew members reported the engine problem, United Airlines clarified that the flight did not declare an emergency landing. However, emergency services were prepared and standing by as a precautionary measure. Thankfully, the flight landed safely, and all passengers and crew members were able to disembark without incident.

Unfortunately, due to the cancellation of the flight upon arrival in Denver, the passengers are currently awaiting alternative flight options to make their journey to Paris. United Airlines reassured that it is actively working with customers to find suitable flights on Friday.

This incident marks the second time this year that a United flight has needed to be diverted to Denver mid-trip. Just a month ago, on February 19, another United flight originating from San Francisco had to be rerouted to Denver due to a wing issue. The aircraft, a Boeing 757-200, sustained minor damage on its right wing.

In a separate incident on January 27, a United flight departing from Las Vegas was forced to land shortly after takeoff in Denver. The reason for the diversion was a cracked windshield, originally headed to Washington D.C. These incidents raise concerns about the reliability of Boeing aircraft.

It is worth mentioning that Boeing, the manufacturer of the aircraft, has been plagued with various problems and investigations concerning the quality and safety of their planes in recent months. As a result, the news broke that Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun would be stepping down from his position at the end of the year.

As the investigation into the specific engine issue on the United flight continues, passengers are hopeful for a prompt and safe resolution. United Airlines remains committed to serving its customers and ensuring their well-being throughout their travels.
