### UFC Paris Headliners Make Weight; Preliminary Fighter Misses Mark
Renato Moicano and Benoit Saint Denis, set to headline UFC Paris, both successfully made weight during Friday's official weigh-ins. The fighters marked in at 156 pounds, each utilizing the one-pound allowance for their lightweight clash. Moicano, ranked No. 12 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, faces Saint Denis, who holds the No. 14 spot. This match serves as Saint Denis' first main event appearance in his home country, France.
While the weigh-ins largely proceeded without problems, preliminary bantamweight Ailin Perez encountered difficulties. Perez weighed in at 136.5 pounds, exceeding the limit by 0.5 pounds, and appeared visibly distressed on the scale. Requiring assistance to leave, her struggle was starkly evident.
The UFC has since confirmed that Perez's fight against Darya Zheleznyakova will continue as a catchweight bout. As a consequence of missing weight, Perez is required to forfeit 20 percent of her fight purse.
