Trump Presents Cellphone Records in Georgia Election Case

Former President Donald Trump has submitted a request to introduce new evidence in his Georgia election interference case, based on Fulton County prosecutor Nathan Wade's cellphone records. The records show that Wade visited Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' home approximately 35 times during an 11-month period in 2021. These records contradict claims made by both Willis and Wade regarding the timeline of their romantic relationship. This development comes after efforts to disqualify Willis and Wade from the case, with Willis testifying that their relationship did not begin until after Wade was officially hired in November 2021. Trump's filing includes over 2,000 calls and nearly 12,000 text messages exchanged between Wade and Willis in 2021, as well as geolocation data showing Wade's phone connected to towers near Willis' home multiple times. The Fulton County district attorney's office is preparing to respond via court filing to these new allegations. These revelations shed light on the complex web of relationships and conflicts of interest at play in the case involving Trump and 18 others accused of alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
