Trump over $350 million, with an additional $4 million imposed on his sons. Judge Arthur Engoron ruled on 16 February that Mr. Trump, his two sons, Trump Organization associates, and Trump properties were liable for tens of millions of dollars. The ruling has prompted a backlash, with truckers across the country expressing their opposition.

A video posted by an individual known as Chicago Ray on social media platform X has gained traction, with Ray stating that truckers plan to "stop refusing loads starting on Monday." The video features Ray criticizing the ruling and expressing frustrations with what he perceives as unfair treatment towards Trump. The phrase "Boycott NYC" has since trended on X, with over 13,000 posts referencing the boycott.

Meanwhile, Elena Cardone, wife of wealthy real estate investor Grant Cardone, has launched a GoFundMe page titled "Stand with Trump; Fund the $355M Unjust Judgment," aiming to raise funds for Trump's defense against the judgment. The fundraiser has already amassed over $240,000 in support. This strong reaction to the civil fraud judgment may foreshadow how the American public will respond to the various court cases facing Mr. Trump in both federal and state courts.
