In a devastating incident on Saturday, four individuals have lost their lives in a suspected murder-suicide in Coweta County, Georgia, according to authorities. The Coweta County Sheriff's Office responded to multiple calls in the early hours of the morning, discovering two bodies in the driveway and one in the doorway of a house on Crabapple Court.

Upon their arrival, a fourth person reportedly ran into the residence, followed by the sound of a gunshot, as stated by the sheriff's office in a post on a social media platform. In response, a SWAT team was dispatched to secure the area, and further investigation led to the discovery of the fourth individual's body inside the home.

Currently, the Coweta County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation into the incident, treating it as a murder-suicide. The identities of the deceased have not been released at this time, pending notification of their respective families.

Local residents have been left shocked and shaken by the tragedy. Brandi Wright, a neighbor who resides nearby, recounted hearing a loud noise around 12:30 a.m., initially mistaking it for thunder. "It's just crazy. You can't even stay safe in your own home anymore," she expressed in an interview with NBC affiliate WXIA of Atlanta.

As the investigation unfolds, the Coweta County Sheriff's Office has stated that more information will be provided to the public. The community is grappling with the sorrowful events that unfolded on Crabapple Court, reminding everyone of the importance of safety and vigilance within their own homes.
