Tragic Multi-Vehicle Crash in Connecticut Results in Four Deaths and Two Life-Threatening Injuries

A devastating multi-vehicle crash in Connecticut on Sunday morning has left four individuals dead and two others with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on Interstate 95 in West Haven around 1:25 a.m., with authorities attributing the crash to a wrong-way driver.

The collision involved a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck traveling northbound in the southbound lanes, ultimately crashing into a Nissan Altima. The impact caused the Silverado to swerve into the center lane, colliding with a Nissan Sentra. Tragically, the driver of the Silverado and all three occupants of the Altima lost their lives in the crash.

The two individuals in the Sentra were rushed to a nearby hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed by law enforcement. Following the collision, Interstate 95 south had to be closed down for a number of hours to manage the aftermath.

State police are actively investigating the incident to determine further details and circumstances surrounding the tragic accident. As information unfolds, authorities aim to bring clarity to this heart-wrenching event.
