### Former One Direction Singer Liam Payne’s Fatal Fall Captured on CCTV

Former One Direction member Liam Payne tragically fell to his death from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires, with CCTV footage capturing the event. According to Argentinian media, the footage, which has not been released publicly, shows Payne fainting before plummeting from the balcony.

The incident was detailed by Paula Varela, an Argentinian broadcast journalist, on the show Socios del Espectaculo, aired on Canal 13. Varela explained, "There is footage that is not being released to the media with the balcony scene where you see that Liam faints and tragically because of where he is, falls from that balcony." She noted that if he had been near his bed, he might have merely fallen onto it instead.

A focus of the ongoing investigation is a night worker at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, who reportedly had a close relationship with Payne. Varela reported that the 20-year-old worker, from Lomas de Zamora, had disobeyed a direct order from the hotel management not to bring anything into Payne’s room. This worker allegedly arranged for a car to deliver something Payne requested, a decision now under scrutiny.

Toxicology reports from Payne's autopsy revealed the presence of pink cocaine—a dangerous mix of methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA—as well as other substances like cocaine and benzodiazepine. Police also found an improvised pipe for smoking crack cocaine in his suite.

The post-mortem examination indicated that Payne, aged 31, died instantly from multiple injuries sustained in the fall, which saw him drop nearly 14 meters onto a concrete path. Authorities have kept the footage secret as investigations continue, suspecting that Payne was experiencing a substance-induced 'psychotic episode' at the time. Alberto Crescenti, chief of the state emergency medical system, confirmed that Payne had fallen into an internal courtyard, where emergency responders later declared him dead due to injuries "incompatible with life."
