University of Missouri Student Reported Missing After Night Out with Fraternity Brothers

Nashville, TN - The police are seeking the public's help to locate Riley Strain, a 22-year-old University of Missouri student and member of the Delta Chi fraternity, who was last seen at a bar in downtown Nashville on Friday night. According to a missing poster circulating online, Strain was last spotted at approximately 10 p.m.

Social media posts from those spreading the word about Strain indicate that he was on a trip with his fraternity brothers at the time of his disappearance. Family members and friends became concerned when attempts to reach him by phone were unsuccessful, as this was out of the ordinary for Strain.

Described as standing at 6 feet and 6 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes, Strain was last seen wearing brown boots, blue jeans, and a white and black button-up shirt.

MU, in a news release, has announced that it is providing counseling resources for students and faculty as they navigate through this difficult time. Resources such as the Wellness Resource Center and the Counseling Center are available for those in need.

According to a missing persons report filed by the Nashville police, Strain was allegedly kicked out of Luke Bryan's bar before he disappeared. Authorities are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Nashville police immediately.

As the search continues, friends, family, and the local community are sharing Strain's description on social media, hoping for any leads that may assist in his safe return.
