In a thrilling display of athleticism, the Tennessee Titans took to the field at Nissan Stadium for their third open practice of training camp. The event drew an impressive crowd of 10,104 fans who eagerly watched the team's performance and engaged in some post-practice festivities.

Head Coach Brian Callahan expressed his gratitude for the fan support, stating, "It was really cool to see the fans in the stadium have a little energy, and all the players felt it. Really meant a lot to be able to get out here and have the fans out here supporting us."

During the practice, the Titans engaged in various drills and simulations. The team participated in a 16-play 7-on-7 period, with a focus on third-down situations. Additionally, they engaged in two 16-play team periods, where they practiced third-down pressures.

One standout performance came from quarterback Will Levis, who showcased his accuracy and decision-making skills. Levis completed his first four passes in the 7-on-7 portion, finishing the day 11-of-17 in both 7-on-7 and team periods combined. However, Levis faced some challenges when under heavy pressure, resulting in an interception by cornerback Tre Avery.

On the defensive side, big defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons stood out with his ability to bat down passes and apply pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Simmons, along with fellow defensive lineman T'Vondre Sweat, demonstrated their dominance by putting 650 pounds of pressure on Levis during one play.

Other quarterbacks, such as Mason Rudolph and Malik Willis, also impressed during the practice. Rudolph completed all four of his passes in 7-on-7 and 6-of-7 passes in team drills. Willis showcased his skills by making aggressive throws and displaying accuracy even under pressure.

Tight end Josh Whyle proved to be a popular target but faced a setback when linebacker Garret Wallow punched the ball out of his grasp. Meanwhile, receiver Tyler Boyd continued to make consistent catches and seemed to settle in comfortably with the team.

Linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. showcased his versatility by making impactful plays in pass-rushing, coverage, and run support. He broke up a pass intended for running back Tony Pollard, further solidifying his presence in the training camp.

The session also saw the addition of edge rusher Shane Ray, who quickly made a name for himself with tackles for loss and pressures. Defensive back Eric Garror displayed his skill set by getting into the backfield and applying pressure on the opposing team.

Injury concerns arose during the practice, with receiver Calvin Ridley hampered by an ankle injury. However, Callahan reassured fans that Ridley returned to the field without exhibiting any further issues. Additionally, outside linebacker Harold Landry and defensive back Chidobe Awuzie were absent from practice due to illness and a calf injury respectively.

The Titan's training camp also played host to a special audience, as controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk and members of the team's ownership group were in attendance.

As the Tennessee Titans continue their rigorous training camp, fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming season, filled with potential and excitement. The team's demonstrated skill and dedication during practices ensure that they are well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.
