The public memorial honoring the three first responders killed earlier this month in Burnsville is set to take place on Wednesday at Grace Church in Eden Prairie. The joint funeral will remember Burnsville police officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, along with paramedic Adam Finseth. Thousands of attendees are expected to pay their respects starting at 11 a.m. The service will be streamed live on WCCO News on CBS Minnesota from 10:30 a.m. with TV coverage beginning at 11 a.m. For those unable to attend in person, a replay of the memorial will air at 7 p.m. on CBS News Minnesota.

Due to limited seating and parking, an overflow spot to watch the livestream of the funeral has been arranged at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville. Organizers urge individuals to honor the fallen heroes by tuning into the livestream and following the procession routes. After the service, the procession will leave Grace Church, travel south on Highway 169, and pass by Burnsville Fire Station Number 2, the police department, and Prince of Peace Church in Burnsville.
