Sources have revealed that actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni experienced a clash during the filming of the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel, "It Ends With Us." The on-set tension between the stars has prompted speculation about the nature of their relationship, with claims that Baldoni created a challenging and uncomfortable atmosphere for the cast.

Reports suggest that Lively, who is a producer on the project, felt uneasy about her postpartum body during some moments on set. Fans also criticized her character's costumes as "frumpy," prompting the actress to incorporate her own wardrobe and borrow outfits from her friends, such as Gigi Hadid and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

While sources who have worked with Baldoni emphasized that he would never intentionally make his actors feel unsupported, it appears that the cast as a whole did not enjoy working with him. This sentiment was evident at the film's premiere in Manhattan, where Lively and Baldoni seemed to avoid each other and did not pose together for photos.

The situation has further escalated as Lively and Baldoni have not appeared together for promotional activities, as Lively has conducted interviews with co-star Jenny Slate instead. Additionally, Baldoni opted out of hosting a screening of the movie in Chicago, raising doubts about his involvement in a possible sequel, despite owning the rights to Hoover's follow-up novel, "It Starts With Us."

"It Ends With Us" was initially purchased by Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, which takes its name from his religious beliefs. The movie, which delves into the complex themes of toxic and abusive relationships, centers around Lively's character, Lily Bloom, and her experience.

The film's premiere indicated a clear divide between the cast members, with Lively posing alongside co-star Brandon Sklenar, as well as her husband Reynolds and actor Hugh Jackman. Baldoni, on the other hand, attended the event with his wife, Emily, who has a small role in the film.

Despite the behind-the-scenes issues, both Lively and Baldoni have spoken highly of each other's contributions to the film. Baldoni praised Lively's performance, stating that it will resonate with many women and shed light on a unique experience rarely depicted in movies. Lively, on the other hand, expressed her dedication and passion for the project.

"It Ends With Us" is expected to perform well at the box office, with projections of earning between $25 million to $35 million in its opening weekend.

The film's production, however, did not shy away from addressing sensitive topics. It sought guidance from the nonprofit organization No More, which aims to end domestic violence and sexual assault, during its development and filming. Both an intimacy coordinator and a stunt coordinator were also involved to ensure the portrayal of domestic violence scenes was approached conscientiously.

As the speculation surrounding their on-set tensions continues, there has been no official comment from representatives of either Lively or Baldoni regarding the reported clash.
