### Tech Leaders Rally Against Policy, Highlight Immigrant Roots

In response to recent events impacting immigrants and refugees, prominent figures in the tech industry have voiced their concerns and taken action. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, emphasized the immigrant backgrounds of his great-grandparents and the refugee status of his in-laws in a recent post. Sergey Brin, Google co-founder who emigrated from the Soviet Union as a child, joined demonstrators at San Francisco International Airport to show his support.

Google's current CEO, Sundar Pichai, also actively participated in the protests. He addressed a gathering of employees at Google's corporate headquarters, expressing gratitude to the crowd for their presence. "Wow, thank you everyone for showing up today," he said amid cheers, remarking on the significance of the occasion.

Moreover, support within Google was evident in an internal company forum. An employee shared an American flag accompanied by the message "Sending support to American colleagues," a post that received over 1,000 likes, demonstrating solidarity among the workforce.

This wave of activism by tech executives highlights their deep personal connections to immigrant experiences and underscores the industry's collective response to policies affecting their employees and wider community.
