Tanker Truck Rollover Causes 10,000 Gallons of Milk Spill on Massachusetts Turnpike On-Ramp

A tanker truck rollover incident on the on-ramp from Route 12 west to Interstate 90 west in Auburn, Massachusetts, caused a spill of 10,000 gallons of milk onto the roadway. The crash, which occurred around noon on a Saturday, also resulted in diesel fuel being spilled. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the driver of the truck declined medical treatment at the scene.
Due to the spill, the ramp from Route 12 west to Interstate 90/Interstate 290 has been closed as crews work to clean up and contain the spilled milk and diesel fuel. The tanker truck involved in the rollover has been uprighted and removed from the crash site. The Auburn Fire Rescue Department and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation are overseeing the cleanup efforts following the incident.
