Residents in the Tri-State area woke up to a winter wonderland as snow blanketed yards, cars, and homes over the weekend. The snowfall totals varied across different counties, with Waynesville, Ohio, in Warren County, receiving over 5 inches of snow according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Other snowfall reports include Oxford, Ohio, and Batesville, Indiana, both receiving 4 inches of snow, while Lebanon and Mason each got 3 inches of snow. Cincinnati saw 2.3 inches of snow, and Erlanger and Wilder in Northern Kentucky received 1.8 inches. The highest snowfall total in Northern Kentucky was reported in Oakbrook with 2.1 inches.

As of 7:30 a.m. Saturday, the NWS reported these snowfall totals, capturing the wintry scene that greeted residents. The day ahead is expected to be frigid, with high temperatures only reaching the upper 20s and low 30s. Wind chills are predicted to stay in the teens throughout the day, with wind gusts potentially reaching up to 25 miles per hour. Residents are advised to bundle up and stay warm in the midst of this snowy weather.
