Over the past two days, rainfall has been more concentrated in Virginia, with lesser amounts reported in Maryland and towards Delaware. Notable rain totals include Dulles leading with 0.35 inches, followed by D.C. with 0.12 inches and Annapolis with 0.04 inches. Areas between Centreville and Fredericksburg in Virginia have observed rainfall totals ranging from half an inch to around an inch, highlighting varying precipitation patterns across the region.
For the remainder of the night, residents can expect additional rounds of steadier showers, particularly in the evening with the possibility of more showers later at night. Low temperatures are anticipated to range from the low to mid-60s, with drizzle and patchy fog likely. Winds will predominantly blow from the east at around 5 to 10 mph, contributing to the continued cool and damp conditions. Despite the ongoing weather patterns, a slight increase in temperatures is expected, with highs forecasted to reach the low to mid-70s on Wednesday.
