Scott Hanson, Andrew Siciliano, Matt Iseman, and Akbar Gbajabiamila to Host Gold Zone Show During Paris 2024 Olympics

In a major announcement, it has been revealed that Scott Hanson, Andrew Siciliano, Matt Iseman, and Akbar Gbajabiamila will be the hosts of the Gold Zone whip-around show during the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The show will be streamed live on the Peacock platform from July 27 to August 10, running from 7 am to 5 pm ET each day.
With the Paris Olympics featuring up to 40 events happening simultaneously, Gold Zone aims to provide viewers with the most exciting and captivating moments as they unfold. The hosts will guide fans through the daily triumphs, emotions, and excitement of the Games, presenting the most exhilarating races, routines, and finishes.
Molly Solomon, Executive Producer and President of NBC Olympics Production, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming show, stating, "The Olympic Games are like no other sporting event with up to 40 competitions happening simultaneously. Given that scale, Gold Zone is designed to be the viewer's best friend, streaming the most important moments in real time."
Scott Hanson, renowned host of NFL RedZone, will kick off each day's coverage on Peacock. Known for his expertise in capturing every touchdown and exciting moment in NFL games, Hanson brings his experience to the Olympic Games for the first time. Joining him will be Andrew Siciliano, host and play-by-play announcer for NFL Network, who previously hosted NBC Sports' Gold Zone coverage during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, co-hosts of the popular American Ninja Warrior show on NBC, will conclude each day's Gold Zone coverage. Iseman, who has worked on two previous Olympics with NBC Sports, and Gbajabiamila, in his second Olympics, also hosted Peacock's Tokyo Olympics morning show, Tokyo Live, in 2021.
Throughout the day, the hosts will be joined by special guests, adding more excitement and insights to the Gold Zone show. NBCU is expected to announce additional hosts and programming details for Paris Olympics' Gold Zone program soon.
Peacock, the streaming platform, will be the exclusive streaming home for the 2024 Paris Olympics. With full coverage of every sport and event, including all 329 medal events, fans will have access to comprehensive Olympic content like never before.
