Veteran boxing reporter Dan Rafael reported that Garcia's test results for the metabolite, which is derived from the banned substance nandrolone, have been confirmed to be negative.

Initially, Garcia had tested positive for the 19-Norandrosterone metabolite. However, the results were pending further analysis through Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS). Thankfully for Garcia, the subsequent analysis has cleared his name of any wrongdoing in this particular case.

On another note, Garcia did test positive for another banned substance called ostarine in samples collected on April 19 and April 20. These are the days leading up to Garcia's recent victory over Devin Haney. Garcia's team has challenged these findings and subsequently requested the testing of a B-sample. The results of the B-sample test are still pending and are expected to be revealed on May 22, as reported by Dan Rafael.

Ryan Garcia has consistently denied knowingly using any performance-enhancing drugs. In response to the recent update, Garcia took to Twitter and expressed his apparent vindication. He thanked his supporters and expressed relief at being cleared of the 19-Norandrosterone metabolite, while acknowledging the pending B-sample test for ostarine.

The B-sample testing will provide further clarity on Garcia's situation and whether he will face any consequences related to the positive ostarine results. Until then, Garcia remains optimistic about the outcome.

It is crucial to note that athletes are innocent until proven guilty, and final conclusions should only be drawn once all the necessary tests and procedures are completed.
