Kalen King, the rookie seventh-round pick, made a significant impact during practice, capitalizing on his first-team snaps. King intercepted a pass from quarterback Jordan Love during a third-and-4 situation targeted for receiver Christian Watson. Making a smart read on the play, King stepped in front of the pass and quickly turned upfield, displaying potential for a pick-six.

Confident and motivated, King also demonstrated his skills with two pass breakups later in practice, including a near-interception during the two-minute series of the third unit. King has been training at both outside and nickel cornerback positions, and his adaptability continues to impress the coaching staff.
