**Rodriguez Suggests Lineup Change to Boost Yankees After World Series Setbacks**

In light of the Yankees' recent struggles in the World Series, Alex Rodriguez has proposed a significant lineup adjustment. Although Rodriguez initially described this lineup change as a "subtle move," Fox Sports postgame host Kevin Burkhardt quickly clarified it as a "big move." With the Yankees trailing 2-0 in the series and Aaron Judge enduring a prolonged postseason slump, Rodriguez suggested altering the batting order to spark Judge's performance.

Rodriguez's recommendation involves switching Aaron Judge and Juan Soto in the lineup. By placing Gleyber Torres, Judge, and Soto in the top three spots, Rodriguez believes the reconfiguration could "activate and jump-start Judge." He explained, "Sometimes you just gotta - you're desperate for runs, you're desperate to activate the big man. Bottom line is, fellas: it's getting late early, OK, and if Judge doesn't get started, it's gonna be a short series. So you're desperate, why not have their hottest hitter protect Judge, and then you split, you can create a matchup problem for the bullpen."

Judge's recent performance has added to the team's woes. In Game 2, the Yankees fell 4-2, with Judge going 0-for-4 and striking out three times. These struggles have dropped his postseason average to .150. Key moments, such as striking out with Torres in scoring position in the first inning and again with Soto in scoring position in the ninth, have highlighted Judge's difficulties. Despite Giancarlo Stanton salvaging a run immediately after Judge's strikeout in the ninth, Judge's lack of extra-base hits and consistent contributions have been glaring.

Discussing his performance, Judge acknowledged, "Especially with what Gleyber and Juan are doing at the top of the lineup, I gotta back them up. They're gonna keep getting on base, I gotta drive them in or move them over." His single hit in the World Series and absence of multi-hit games this postseason contrast sharply with moments of brilliance earlier in October, such as his double against the Royals in the ALDS and home runs against the Guardians in the ALCS.

As the World Series heads to Yankee Stadium for the next two games, starting Monday night with Clarke Schmidt facing Dodgers' Walker Buehler, the Yankees must devise a strategy to turn the series around. If Alex Rodriguez had a say, a potential batting order tweak might just be the key to revitalizing Judge and, ultimately, the team’s championship hopes.
