**Whittaker Vows Comeback After UFC 308 Defeat**

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has assured his supporters that his career is far from over. Whittaker faced a tough match at UFC 308, where he experienced a rare submission loss against undefeated contender Khamzat Chimaev. This marked only the second time Whittaker has lost via tap-out in his distinguished career, the first being over a decade ago in 2011.

Following the event, Whittaker took to Instagram to share his thoughts and offer congratulations to his opponent. "It's a tough gig sometimes, but that's the business," Whittaker stated. He acknowledged Chimaev's skill, noting, "Big congratulations to Khamzat, he was the better man tonight and that's all there is to it."

Despite the loss, Whittaker remained positive about his performance. "I felt great, everything was on point and I was ready," he explained. He also mentioned the physical toll of the match, revealing, "My jaw is good, but my teeth were moved in. It's a good excuse to fix them properly now."

In his message, Whittaker expressed his disappointment but emphasized his resilience. "I'm disappointed, but I come back better from every setback and every challenge so this is no different," he wrote, signaling his intent to return stronger in future bouts.
