Boston Red Sox outfielder, Jarren Duran, has expressed his excitement about meeting New York Yankees' slugger, Aaron Judge, at the upcoming 94th annual Midsummer Classic. Duran, who is already teammates with Rafael Devers and Tanner Houck, will have the opportunity to interact with the rest of the American League All-Stars at the Globe Life Field next week.

During a recent in-game interview with ESPN, Duran revealed his eagerness to stand next to Judge, mentioning that he wants to see what it's like to be next to a player of his stature. Rob Refsnyder, Duran's teammate, has often talked about Judge's impressive size, with the Yankees' outfielder standing tall at 6-foot-7 and weighing 282 pounds. In comparison, Duran stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 205 pounds.

Despite the physical differences, Duran's impressive performance in the first half of the season has earned him a spot among the deserving All-Stars. The 27-year-old outfielder is batting .276 with 10 home runs, 40 RBIs, 21 stolen bases, and a league-leading 10 triples. According to Red Sox senior manager of media relations and baseball information J.P. Long, Duran has become the first American League player to achieve 10 homers, 100 hits, 10 triples, and 20 stolen bases before the All-Star break.

Although Duran is likely to be a reserve player, while Judge has been voted into the starting lineup by the fans, the two players might still have the opportunity to showcase their skills during the exhibition contest. The All-Star Game is scheduled for next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET, and it promises to be a thrilling event where the best players in the American League will take the field.

As the Midsummer Classic approaches, the excitement is building not only for fans but also for the players who will gather to celebrate the sport's finest talents. Duran's anticipation of meeting Judge exemplifies the camaraderie and respect among All-Stars, despite their team rivalries. The event will undoubtedly provide a platform for Duran and Judge to display their exceptional abilities and represent their teams with pride.
