The Boston Red Sox (51-41) showcased their prowess on the field, recording an impressive 10 shutouts this season, which is the best in the American League. Only the Atlanta Braves (11) have recorded more shutouts in Major League Baseball.

In their recent game against the Kansas City Royals, the Red Sox fielded a strong lineup with players like Refsnyder, Duran, and Devers. However, they struggled to find success against pitcher Ragans. Rafael Devers, Tyler O'Neill, and Rob Refsnyder failed to record a hit against Ragans, whilst Connor Wong and Masataka Yoshida managed to tally a hit each.

The Red Sox have been on a remarkable home run streak, hitting the ball out of the park in six consecutive games and in 18 of their last 20 games. Their power-hitting prowess is clearly evident, with a total of 35 home runs since June 17. Only the New York Mets (36) have hit more home runs during that timeframe.

Masataka Yoshida has been exceptional during the Red Sox's recent surge. Over the last 14 games, Yoshida has maintained a batting average of .346 with an impressive OPS of .928. Additionally, he has contributed 12 RBIs to the team's success.

When the Red Sox amass at least 10 hits in a game, they boast an outstanding record of 31-3, showcasing their ability to capitalize on offensive opportunities. This feat has been achieved in 11 of their last 22 games, highlighting their consistency at the plate.

Scoring five or more runs has also been a key factor in the Red Sox's success this season. With a record of 40-4 when achieving this mark, they have the second-best winning percentage in MLB. Only the Seattle Mariners (29-2, .935) have a better winning percentage in such games. Impressively, the Red Sox have emerged victorious in their last 24 games when scoring five or more runs.

Pitcher Ragans, who has been selected for the All-Star Game next week, is part of a formidable trio of Royals pitchers who rank in the top 15 for ERA in the American League. Ragans' inclusion in the All-Star team is a testament to his stellar performances on the mound.

As the Red Sox continue to dominate with their shutouts and relentless power hitting, they remain a force to be reckoned with in the league. Their next challenges await, as they strive to maintain their winning streak and solidify their position as playoff contenders.
