Australian actor Rebel Wilson has accused British actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen of trying to prevent her from writing about him in a chapter of her upcoming memoir, titled "Rebel Rising." Wilson took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal Baron Cohen as the subject of the chapter, referring to him as "the a--hole."

In a video posted on her Instagram, Wilson discussed her experience working with older colleagues in Hollywood, stating that they had a "no a--hole policy." However, the true meaning of this policy only became clear to her when she had the chance to work with what she described as a "massive a--hole." Wilson emphasized that the chapter in her book dedicated to this individual is Chapter 23 and expressed her resolve to not be bullied or silenced by high-profile lawyers or PR crisis managers.

A representative for Sacha Baron Cohen has strongly denied Wilson's claims, labeling them as "demonstrably false." They asserted that there is extensive and detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those involved in the production of "The Brothers Grimsby,” which directly contradict Wilson's allegations.

"The Brothers Grimsby," released in 2016, featured Rebel Wilson and Sacha Baron Cohen as a couple who had nine children together. The film was a comedic action adventure directed by Louis Leterrier.

Rebel Wilson is set to release her memoir on April 2, where she promises to delve into her experiences in Hollywood, including her encounter with the individual she refers to as an "a--hole" in Chapter 23.

It remains to be seen how this dispute will unfold, and whether further details about the alleged incidents involving Sacha Baron Cohen will be revealed in Wilson's memoir.
