### Ravens’ Offensive Line Faces Uphill Battle Against Eagles' Defense

The Baltimore Ravens have built an admirable offensive line this season, allowing only 16 sacks—ranking third-best in the NFL. While their line performs relatively well in protection, concerns linger, most notably their league-leading 26 holding penalties, significantly higher than the league average of 14.6. As they gear up to face the Philadelphia Eagles, they must contend with Craig Wrolstad's officiating crew, known for calling 31 offensive holding penalties this season, the fifth-most in the NFL.

Among the standout players, Ronnie Stanley, a first-team All-Pro in 2019, remains a crucial component despite missing 36 games from 2020 to 2023 due to leg injuries. Remarkably, Stanley has not allowed a sack this season, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF), showcasing his resilience and skill.

On the other end of the spectrum is Patrick Mekari, who has garnered the most holding penalties in the league, with a total of seven. This is a red flag for the Ravens, as no other player has accumulated six holding calls this season, and with the formidable Jalen Carter on the Eagles' defense, Mekari’s propensity for penalties could be a significant issue.

Tyler Linderbaum, the Ravens' undersized center, stands out for his athleticism. Measuring 6’2" and 296 pounds with 31-inch arms at the 2022 NFL Combine, Linderbaum has still thrived as a first-round pick. PFF credits him with not allowing any sacks and only two quarterback hits, bolstering his reputation as an exceptional player despite physical limitations.

Daniel Faalele, the 6'8", 380-pound right guard, is the largest player in the NFL. His size will be put to the test against the quickness of Jalen Carter, a formidable opponent for any offensive lineman.

Rookie right tackle Roger Rosengarten, a second-round pick listed at 6'5", 316 pounds, brings good athleticism to the line but remains undersized. Initially scouted by the Eagles, Rosengarten has stayed at tackle for the Ravens but will need to leverage his agility to handle the speed of Nolan Smith rather than the power of Brandon Graham.

As the Ravens look to counter the Eagles' defense, wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith aim to exploit Baltimore's 31st-ranked pass defense. Quarterback Jalen Hurts will need to efficiently connect with Brown and Smith, especially if Smith recovers from his hamstring injury, to secure a win against a team that has allowed the second-most passing yards per game in the NFL this season.
