Prince William has provided a heartfelt update on the health of his wife, Kate, following her recent cancer treatment. Speaking to reporters in South Africa before the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in Cape Town, the Prince of Wales praised Kate's resilience and strength.

"She's doing really well, thanks. Hopefully, she's watching tonight and cheering me on," William expressed. He went on to commend his wife, saying, "She's been amazing this whole year and I know she'll be really keen to see tonight be a success."

Princess Kate's public appearances have been scarce due to her undergoing preventative chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis earlier this year. In a moving video released in September, Kate shared the news of completing her treatment, emphasizing her focus on "staying cancer free." The video also featured William and their three children, highlighting the family's unity during this challenging time.

William is in South Africa to attend the Earthshot Awards, an environmental initiative he established in 2021. The award aims to honor and support contributions to environmentalism by recognizing five winners each year.
