### Analysts Agree: No. 1 Georgia Faces Greater Pressure than No. 4 Alabama

In a recent discussion on the "Always College Football with Greg McElroy" podcast, college football analysts David Pollack and Greg McElroy both concurred that top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs are under more pressure than fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

During the podcast, McElroy expressed his view that Alabama, under the leadership of new head coach Kalen DeBoer, appears to be in a position to take more risks this season. "I feel like Bama's playing with house money, a bit, and all the pressure is kind of on Georgia," he stated. Pollack agreed, noting that, despite Georgia's recent dominance in the SEC under head coach Kirby Smart, the Bulldogs have struggled historically against Alabama.

Pollack added that even during Georgia's national championship-winning season, they had suffered a defeat at the hands of Alabama in the SEC championship game. He emphasized that Georgia's upcoming schedule, which includes road games against No. 2 Texas and No. 5 Ole Miss, as well as a home game against No. 6 Tennessee, adds to the pressure they face.

In contrast, Alabama's schedule, while still challenging, includes games at No. 6 Tennessee, at No. 13 LSU, and home contests against No. 11 Missouri and No. 18 Oklahoma. Though difficult, these matchups suggest an easier path to 10 or 11 wins for Alabama compared to Georgia.

The highly anticipated Georgia-Alabama game is set to take place at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 28, and will be broadcasted on ABC.
