### Power Restoration Efforts Continue Following Western Washington Windstorms

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is working diligently to adhere to its power restoration timelines despite dealing with another bout of gusty winds early Friday morning across western Washington. Though not as severe as the windstorm on Tuesday night, which left over 600,000 residents without electricity, this latest system has compounded the restoration challenges.

PSE reported that by 6 a.m. on Friday, the utility had restored power to around 120,000 customers in the past 24 hours. Despite these efforts, more than 167,000 customers remained without power as of 8 a.m. This includes areas in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and Kitsap Counties, where PSE plans to restore electricity by 6 p.m. on Friday, November 22. For the smaller number of outages in Pierce County, PSE has provided individual restoration estimates.

King County has endured the worst damage from Tuesday's severe windstorm, described as a bomb cyclone. PSE projects that most customers in the state's largest county will have their service restored by 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 23.

To support those still affected by the outages, PSE is setting up two information resource hubs on Friday. These hubs, offering device charging, Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks, will be located in the parking lots of the Fred Meyer stores in Maple Valley and Kent. They will be operational from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers can stay informed about the latest restoration estimates by checking the company’s outage map, which will be updated throughout the day.
